Newaygo County Agricultural Fair Dairy Clinic

The Dairy Committee at the Newaygo County Fair is holding an educational dairy clinic for youth and their parents featuring showing, fitting, and judging dairy cattle. The clinic is intended for youth ages 5 thru 19, and their parents, with interest in showing dairy cattle. Kids 5-8 must be accompanied by an adult.

The clinic will be held in the large animal show barn at the fairgrounds on Saturday, May 5th. Check-in starts at 9:30 A.M., sessions will begin promptly at 10, and will convene at 1 P.M. We will be covering dairy showmanship, judging, and clipping. There will be a swine PQA meeting March 24th at 1pm located at the Gerber Union Hall. 

The Valley View Pigs will be sold prior to this meeting.
