MLSS Information Meeting

There will be an informational meeting for market livestock exhibitors on Wednesday, July 29 at 7:00 pm in the sale arena. This meeting will cover details of the upcoming Market Livestock Show & Sale, August 10-14, so we are encouraging anyone wishing to sell their market animal to attend! Registration paperwork will soon be available online at newaygocountyfair.org/mls2020.

Here are a few updates:

  • 1. Hog check-in will be on Monday, August 10 from 7:30am – 9:30 am. Check in for Steers, Sheep, Goats and Poultry is Monday, August 10 7:00 pm- 9:00 pm.
  • 2. The small animal sale is scheduled for Thursday, August 13 at 5:00 pm with large animals to follow at 6:00.
  • 3. If you have difficulty registering your animal through FairEntry, please contact the fair office.
  • 4. There will be NO PROFESSIONAL photos taken this year.
  • 5. Stall decorations are at your own discretion.
  • 6. Signs should be made up and placed in the stall/pen listing the exhibitor name, animal and weight.
  • 7. To help stay in compliance with social distancing, this year we are encouraging exhibitors to send their buyers a gift or we will see that they are delivered on sale night but we are not asking kids to hand deliver buyer gifts.
  • 8. Camping will be available. $150 with electricity and $75.00 without.
