2018 Annual Fair board meeting will be held on Monday, December 10th at The Shack in White Cloud. Coffee and cookies will be at 6:30 and meeting will start at 7 pm with regular board meeting to follow. You must be current on your dues by November 10th to vote.
Proposed By-Law Changes for Review
Article 7, Section 1-Proxy voting is allowed at all meetings. Proxy must be in written form clearly identifying the proxy grantor and grantee. Proxy must be surrendered to Secretary for records.
Article 4, Section 2- Remove “Newaygo Area Chamber of Commerce” and “White Cloud Chamber of Commerce” since they have merged into “River Valley Area Chamber of Commerce.” Add River Valley Area Chamber of Commerce (2 Seats).”
Article 5, Section 2- Add position “Assistant Secretary”
Article 5, Section 3- Add “6. Assistant Treasurer- Attends to the billing/invoicing, solicits contracts for day sponsors and event sponsors, and any other duties as assigned by the treasurer.”
Artice 5, Section 3- Add “7. Assistant Secretary-Attends to the filing of minutes and records of the organization, maintains the Facebook page, the webpage, other social media, and other duties as assigned by the secretary.”
